2026 — United States Patent

U.S. Patent No. US-12621252-B1 | Amazon Technologies, Inc.

During my time as a founding engineer and technical lead on Amazon's cross-platform commerce initiative, I had the opportunity to co-invent technology that was subsequently awarded a United States patent.

The invention, Executing a Service of a First Online Resource via a Second Online Resource, addresses technical challenges associated with securely executing services across distinct online platforms, enabling integrated experiences without requiring users to leave their current digital environment.

The patented technology emerged from our work bringing Amazon's commerce capabilities into third-party platforms, supporting new ways for customers to discover and purchase products within applications such as Meta, Twitch, TikTok, Snapchat, and Pinterest.

Being named as a co-inventor on a granted U.S. patent represents a significant milestone in my engineering career and reflects the technical innovation, collaboration, and problem-solving involved in bringing new technologies to market.

2023 — Launch of Amazon Anywhere & In-App Shopping

Founding Engineer & Technical Lead | Amazon

As a founding engineer and technical lead, I helped bring Amazon's cross-platform commerce initiative from concept to launch, enabling customers to discover and purchase Amazon products directly within third-party applications and digital experiences.

The initiative was a high-priority, zero-to-one effort to extend Amazon's commerce capabilities beyond its traditional website and mobile application. I helped architect and scale the underlying distributed systems, while providing technical leadership across engineering teams and coordinating integrations with major platforms including Meta, Twitch, TikTok, Snapchat, and Pinterest.

Key Highlights

  • 300M+ Users Reached: Expanded Amazon's commerce capabilities across major digital platforms, reaching a combined audience of more than 300 million users.

  • $1B+ in Revenue: Contributed to a broader commerce initiative associated with more than $1 billion in revenue.

  • 200× Higher Conversion Rates: Enabled shopping experiences that achieved conversion rates up to 200 times higher than traditional advertising experiences.

  • 100K+ Transactions Per Second: Architected and scaled high-performance distributed backend services processing more than 100,000 transactions per second while maintaining sub-200ms latency and 99.99% availability.

  • 30+ Engineers: Provided technical leadership across two engineering directorates, guiding system architecture, development, and cross-organizational execution.

  • Global Expansion: Reduced international deployment timelines from four months to just two days through infrastructure standardization, architectural improvements, and codebase refactoring.

Beyond the technical challenges, the initiative required close collaboration across numerous engineering organizations and external partners. I helped establish the technical foundations, engineering practices, and scalable architecture necessary to support the platform's growth.

The project remains one of the defining achievements of my career, demonstrating how an ambitious concept can evolve into a globally scaled product through engineering innovation and cross-functional leadership.

The initiative also led to patented technology, for which I was named as a co-inventor on U.S. Patent US-12621252-B1.
